How about a large-print bible? Her eyes can't be what they used to be. Or, how about the bible on audio tape?
Nice warm slippers.
A sweater.
Religious music.

For my grandmother's 100th, we all gave her photos of ourselves. We also gave her lots of her favorite foods and sweets. At that age, they don't want for much. Your presence is a gift in itself ... assuming this is a party situation.
I would advise against the lingerie and the rosary beads. She isn't likely to get lucky at this age; she already has her own beads. Otherwise, a statuette of a saint is always nice, since you mentioned she is quite religious. A Catholic can never have enough of those!

Someone that old has no need of more 'things'.. I'm sure she has enough statues and hand made gifts and good smelling lotions...
A lot of very old people are lonely.. and thrifty! She's going to remember the Depression, and how expensive Long Distance was... how about getting her a phone card so she can keep in touch?
And a lot of old people have difficulty taking care of their feet.. how about taking her for a pedicure? Women of all ages love a spa day!

Perhaps perfume? Maybe some of the wonderful scented lotions they have these days that are great for your skin. Good luck!! And I think that is so wonderful that your husband's great Aunt is 110 soon!!! Happy Birthday to her, and many more!!!

A big bouquet of fresh beautiful flowers, a nice crocheted throw cover, a rosary would be lovely, or freshly baked cakes or cookies and a visit would probably make her happy! :) Wow! Good for her, Happy Birthday!

A hug is one of the best presents that you can give. But if you want anything material, I'd say something that'll last. Perhaps something that you made yourself (these are always the best type as well). It all also depends on her lifestyle. If she is practical, give her something practical, like drawers (handmade) to put stuff in.

I think it would be nice to get her a beautiful family photo calendar so she look at the family and also keep track of the days as that is sometimes important to older people to remember what day it is. Mmm
