Well I'm confused, All my life I've been in a MUSLIM school, getting used to Islam, since I was 12, I went to church (I'm suppoused to be catholic), I did my first communion and that's it.
I dunno which religion I should be, everythign is pointing to Islam but then I don't feel comfortable myself with some rules of it (not the hiyab thing, I got no problem with it)
I thought on converting but I find myself with doubts. I've been thinkgin abotu this for a year already o.o

I have taken a look into both religions...
I know for myself, that just plain Christianity works best....You know...being a Non-denominational Christian....
I see that bottom line Christianity has many "spin offs..." and Catholicisms and Muslim are just two of the many...
Muslims don't believe too differently from bottom line Christians....and I say "bottom line"...because once all of the "religious stuff" is removed from all of the different forms of Christianity, you get to the bottom line...which is the plain word of God!!!!!!
There...you have the main difference as being Christ....and since Muslims say that they believe in the existence of Christ...but believe that he wasn't the "last prophet"...then what is the confusion of confessing him as your Lord and Savior....
All in all, you can't remove the Resurrection of Christ from history because even "time" (b.c. and a.c. or b.d. and a.d.) are structured around the existence of Christ...So, I have seen myself draw solidly to Christianity....
So, all in all, I think that your doubt comes from the proof that your spirit and soul is here to accomplish the works of Christianity...
You are not here divinely to work some average job, but to fulfill the High Call of God....You are created with a purpose...and God is going to pull on you all of your life...until you commit solidly to Him....
Wooow...that is a great question....don't get me started...because I know how you feel....
I hope that helps....if you need more help...my contact info is available....

It is awesome that you are asking questions. I must start by saying that I am bias. I am a devoted Christian, raised in a Catholic household but didn't really become strong in my faith until I started challenging it and looking for the answers.
It must be very difficult to turn from things you have been taught all your life. A great book that helped me was Bruce Muncaster's book A Skeptic's Search for God.
My questions for Islam are these: Why, if Islam is supposed to be the "religion of peace", does the Islamic community as a whole not stand up and voice their disapproval of fundamentalists carrying out terrorist acts? Why does the Q'uran teach to treat people differently based on what group they are in (i.e. Jew, Christian, Muslim, American, infidel, etc.)?
It is possible that God is giving you these uncomfortable feelings about converting in order to give you a "wake-up call." Ever heard of people getting bad premonitions before something happens? This might be the same thing.

I would keep thinking about it. No one else can answer the question of your personal belief for you. I would suggest that you learn at least as much about your native religion as you can before you decide to commit to another one. If Islam still seems right after you've learned all about Catholicism, by all means convert.
Basically, get in touch with your spiritual roots before deciding to cut them off.
And no, I'm not trying to 'save' you- I'm Jewish, I don't believe that people need saving in the first place. I just can't stand to see people change their allegiences wihout even properly knowing what those allegiences are.
Oh, if you want a basic start, read the Wikipedia articles on both Islam and Catholicism. And then contact a local priest of both religions.

If you can't decide right now wait until you've learned more. There's no real need to choose either one. God is there no matter what you call yourself. Read and study more and see what "feels" right to you.
I've been reading about religions for 30 years and I've come to the conclusions religion is sort of silly. It's made up by men to make sense of things that mere humans can't understand. My take is there is no being called God as such and religion is only to make people feel safer in a group of like minded people.
Do what feels right for you. It's different for everyone

I'd say Catholicism if those are the only two choices, but I'd rather you just be saved and work on it from there.
