I've been friends with this Arabic guy at my school for a couple of months now! And we talk on the phone, and we laugh together alot. In the beginning I wasn't attracted to him, but the more and more we talk and communicate... I think I'm actually starting to fall for him. Which I never thought would happen in a million years. Hes a really sweet guy... hes respectful, and he is a gentleman. But, I want to be friends with him for a while 1st so we can better understand each other as a whole. Hes been on my mind, and I have to be true to myself, cause I know deep down inside I like him. He reminds me everyday that he likes me... and its so cute. 1st off, it's strange that you as an African would use the term "jungle fever" for liking an "Arabic" guy. But anyway, love knows no boundaries. It doesn't matter what nationality or ethnicity a person is. If you like a nice person, that's all that's required. I can relate to you because my daughter also likes a guy from the middle east.

Well this is a pretty rare match, but who says that it isnt a beautiful one or that it cannot happen, I would go for it, Overall he is a guy with all the qualities that you like. You guys can share a whole lot of culture more laughter, beautiful experiences/memories and etc. Go for it!!

I think you should go for it. sounds like the start of a strong and healthy relationship. just go nice and slowly so that the two of you can really come to know an understand each other. don't worry over what anyone else thinks, this is between you and him. good luck!

You might want to stop calling it jungle fever lol. Just see what happens and keep being just friends. But keep this in mind, if it escalates to a real relationship, his parents may not approve once he tells them (if he tells them about you). Poke around and nicely ask questions about how he was raised and how his parents feel about other minorities. I'm not saying all Middle Easterns would dissaprove of an an interracial relationship but usually they stick to their own as far as dating.
