media player will not open?

Question

would not play movies, so I downloaded update media player 11 now it does nothing, and if i remove media player on add and remove programs there are 3 media player on there should i remove all of them.

no dont remove all of them, remove 2. and this is if infact they all are media player program.
and to get the movies to play in windows media player you need to download and install a codec pack, here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=A503FF93-D1B2-4DAA-A0D2-3E33F1F15BF1&displaylang=en

I believe you shud remove them..To be sure go to MICROSOFT.COM and find the answer....good luck
