The blogbaba is a boxing fan, and ex-boxer himself, and I got to tell you, I always had trouble with wrestlers. I am going against the grain on this one, but take a boxer off his feet and it's over for him.
I'm taking the wrestler over the boxer all things considered.

Wrestler is more likely to win. Watching a lot of ultimate fighting of mixed martial arts, wrestlers (real one) wins a lot of fights, I have yet to see a boxer winning a mixed martial art match, kickboxers wins a lot too but not boxers.

the wrestler would win (and i'm not talking fake WWE entertainers); they know proper technique in taking an opponent down; boxer do not have much knowledge in defending a takedown and get slammed on their backs only to receive a barrage of punches afterwards! it was tested several times in the 1800s - boxer vs wrestler and the wrestler always won with a takedown...you can read up on it on wikipedia

it would depend on which wrestler was fighting which boxer. it's too vauge of a question to answer in the abstract.
for example, Mike Tyson would destroy Hulk Hogan

All a real Wrestler (or any grappler) would need to do is shoot for a takedown, and slap on a submision.
