I will kneel down to anyone. And, I am not ashamed to say it. It took me about 60 years to learn that the opposite attitude sounds so heroic, but it is really simply ignorant egoism glorified by red-necks and movies.

In reality, and scripturally according to Jesus, "When you walk into a meeting do not pompously go to the front as an announcement of your superiority and ranking among the participants; instead sit quietly at the back until you are asked to come forward and contribute what you know about the subject." -- paraphrased of course.

When I was first married to my new wife, she was embarrassed by the fact that I always ask my friends how to build something (construction) before I start a project. Why was she embarrassed?

She said, "you know how to wire our house, or plumb our house, or whatever, why do ask Jay for advice before you fix something or build something? When you do that it makes me feel embarrassed that my husband is not as smart as the other wive's husbands."

I tried to explain that I am a retired Intelligence Officer and that I was trained to collect a lot of information from variegated sources before I make a decision. -- Well, we have been married 2 years and now she accepts me as a person who consults others before making a decision. -

Back on point: My answer is yes, I may not worship all people, but I kneel down and worship some parts of all people.; especially witty, loving, and "fun to be around" people.

sorry for the rambling.

Yeah, let's put together a lizard cult. We'll have to line up some human sacrifices though. Godzilla gets hungry pretty frequently.

Gotta love the Big Gu. . .uh, Gal. :-)

I still laugh when I think of the answers that she got to a question when she offered to let people do their worst as a "Christmas present." All done in good fun, and she gave us some very good giggles.
