The first teeth to appear in a baby are the two lower central teeth ... usually at around six months. The living parts of a tooth are 1) the dentine 2) the cementum 3) the artery/vein/nerve --- which together compose the pulp. The enamel is not living...it is dead tissue.

Usually the two bottum front teeth come in first. Thats all I know.
