I know this question probably sounds so stupid but I rarely cook. I bought two pieces of marinated steak from a supermarket almost two weeks ago and I completely forgot about them till now. I'm wondering if it's still safe to eat them.
:)

Is it frozen? If its frozen than yes. But if not-NO! Its teeming with bacteria now. You can only eat meat from the fridge if it was there about a day 2 is even pushing it.

No way.... don't do it!! If you are going to do it (at your own risk), cook for hours and hours in a stew with tomatoes, loads of herbs and spices to cover up the bad rotting taste!! For the amount of gas/electric used, trouble doing it, not being able to sleep at night, possibly a dicky stomache in the morning, go out and buy fresher fish, or, if on a budget, the reduced ones that can be eaten today, or in a month (or longer, in your case!!) if frozen on day of purchase.

Beef is not like pork or chicken. I always let mine come to room temp. before cooking it. Go ahead and enjoy.
