well I have 2 cats sister and brother. bingbangboom, she is pregnant. We didnt get them fixed quick enough! He is fixed now and she will be if she ever has these babies! My questions are Can a cat go over her due date? I mean she is huge! and by our calculations she should be havng them between last weekend and this weekend. The vet checked her when she came and fixed my male cat and said she looked really good and all. But I am worried she is going to explode. figurativley of coarse. do they perform c-sections on cats? Or can they induce labor? What are some things I can do to help get this show on the road? She has done nothing but lay around for 2 weeks now only moving around to eat and find another spot to lay down! She is very bitchy and only allows my husband to pet her. He has left for 5 days and says she will have them while he is away. She has alot of nesting spots through out the house...when is this going to happen? Please help me help her. and thank you in advance!

They are usually spot on, but 2-3 days either way is not uncommon, dont forget it mighten not have happen the first mating, there might have been more, go off the last one if you know it. They usually have them in the middle of the night, so you will wake up one morning with a surprise.

Your kitty will have the kitts when she is good and ready. Since she already has chosen nesting spots, it shouldn't be too long now. It is possible you guessed wronog on the conception date.

If you're still worried about her, take her back to the vet.
