Yes, there are proteins and bacteria in the water and if you drink enough you will gain the weight from them. Next time you have a glass, look at the floaties.

Water doesnt have calories - so it would be impossible to get a calorie while drinking water.

However, if your body stores the water (called water fat), you will gain quite a bit of weight depending on how much you drink and store.
