They screech all the time. I'm thoroughly embarrassed that I used to be one.

If you were bored all the time, talked in a language that no one can understand, had to let someone do simple things for you like get a cup of milk when you were thirsty, and were constantly told what to do...you would be as annoying. :P

Screeching is allowed by the parents. It doesn't exist in all cultures, by the way if you travel and see. In some parts of the world the children are taught to act more loving to their siblings and friends, they are more respectful of others while still playing and having fun like children.

I think western (USA< UK) and Middle Eastern (Arab and Israel) kids are the absolute pits of the whole world. A generalization, I know, but if you travel you will be aware of this very quickly. A close runner up are some of the fat little Chinese kids who have been so spoiled because the government has pushed for only one child, but even these spoiled brats seem to know when to conduct themselves better than the first group I singled out.
For all of you parents who scream at me....use a little common sense; walk into a Walmart alone. Stand at the door for 3 minutes and listen. What do you hear? Even in a middle price range restaurant now you can't get through a meal without screaming brats....it's expected at MacD's of course, but Olive Garden should be a little bit different or Outback; however it isn't. The kids run loose, scream and disrupt. The parents enjoy their wine.
If you control your kids, good, we aren't speaking to you as you are doing your job. It's the lazy parents that are allowing their kids the run of the world that many of us are upset with.

They are probably more annoying to you because I doubt that you have any. However, parents have a responsibility to correct bad behavior in their children. If some parents obviously allow misbehavior, I sometimes correct their kids. You should see the look on some four year old at Wally-World when you tell him/her to "hush", "Quit grabbing things", "quit running", and so forth. Their parents look a little embarrassed too! None of us needs to be held hostage by the disregard and disrespect of others. The time to teach respect is during the diaper stage!

there are such fairly some out of control youthful ones that we oftentimes ignore no longer all of them are a soreness. I trust you even if, maximum I see in public are scary, i ask your self what variety of living house they stay in. there's a kin living proper behind my sons living house who've some out of control youthful ones, they are continuously throwing toys over the fence, a metallic pole and immediately i got here across a toy dogs bone, a open equipment or Ritz crackers, a filled toy, a plastic glass and a small sweet bar.I w onder even as the trash will start up coming over the fence. we've under no circumstances spoken to them yet and we virtually under no circumstances flow outdoors in the again backyard so it isn't a personal element, they are in simple terms pigs. i'm amassing all of it in a bag and could sometime drop it off of their the front backyard or ring the door bell and hand it to the father and mom, won't be able to believe they don't seem to be lacking all those issues. the father and mom enable them out in the darkish to play in the tiny outdoor, one is round 2 or 3 and the bratty boy is 5 or so.What are they doing using motorcycles at 11pm to hour of darkness? We had strict guidelines of habit even as i replaced right into a baby, wreck the guidelines and it replaced right into a swat and stale on your room for the completed day.

most of the time it is because their parents are annoying. I know some young children that are wonderful to be around because their parents have taught them manners and the proper way to behave in public or someones home. On the other hand some people let their children get away with murder and never seem to realize how annoying they as well as their children are.

They just are. I can't tell you why because they are such busy beavers and even though it is annoying, they are human and they will grown out of it (hopefully) when they get older.

Don't be embarrased. Children will be children and they are having a good time. But their parents should check them on their screech problem.

Not all children are like that. The ones who are raised to behave in public will not screech all the time.

They're annoying to you because you don't have children. Even for people who do have kids, they're still annoying, but not nearly as much. I have two young sons (3 years old and 20 months old, respectively) and whenever we're out in public and I hear a child screaming, instead of thinking, "Jeez, can't that kid's parents shut him up?!" I usually think, "Well, at least it's not one of mine doing that!"

If you had your own, you would be a bit more forgiving.

That said, I have two, ages seven and four. They do not act up in public, they mind their manners. Temper tantrums are not permitted in public. How? By teaching them discipline, self discipline and proper manners since they were toddlers.

Parents today are too afraid to teach their children how to behave.
