Prom is coming up and I have many guys ask me to prom. It's so hard to say NO to their face. How do I say no without sounding bitchy,rude, mean and nasty?

Hm, I really can't tell you what to say, but I do appreciate your concern over this sticky dilemma. You are going to develop your own style of turning down offers from well meaning guys in a way that they are going to understand that your "no" means "no," but at the same time they're going to go away from it feeling like a million bucks because they made and offer to a wonderful young woman whom they found extremely attractive and although she said "no," she was flattered by their offer and let them down in such a compassionate and tactful way that their adoration of her is taken to a new level of acceptance for what really is. And, they'll be able to move on to someone who is truly a healthy match for them.

here it is, advice from a guy. There is no way to turn a guy down without him feeling hurt in someway. The only thing you can do is make it as painless as possible. be honest and be quick. And by the way, saying, "No thanks, but I am flattered that you asked." I can't speak for all guys but I hate hearing that. It's like my pride has been wounded and you think it'll make me feel better that that your pride is doing great.

first thing, you aren't responsible for his feelings, he is. you could no more create feelings where there is none than you could poop a diamond. if he has that much feelings involved in asking you to prom he has bigger issues. if you feel a sense of power by thinking anyone that ask you out is in love with you, then you have your own issues. just politely inform your string o guys that you have already made plans, that's it. you are done.

tell the guys the truth that you have so many guys asking you now and that you'll give them an answer soon and also that you don't want to disappoint anybody. And thank them for asking.
