I'm doing a little "easter basket" for a special guy friend of mine. We flirt a little, but we're not dating, but the gift is also more personal than "just a friend." I'm NOT going to do candy. He likes things that MATTER (surprisingly not into possessions, just likes unique things), and he can buy his own candy. I've bought him a tie (it's cute and him, trust me) and a little novelty, humorous book that is kind of an "in-joke." Beyond that, I'm lost. I'm trying to fill a basket, and I feel like there's some area of gift I'm not reaching yet...

profile: 23-year-old male
not a big drinker
doesn't smoke, etc
virginal
music/arts geek
a little weird
previous gifts: loves the card, tosses candy to the side like a dirty sock.
does not wear jewelry of any sort aside from a watch (its new, can't go there)
emotional, but not openly

IDEAS. HELP!!!

It would seem like the most thoughtful gift for a guy like that would be art supplies, if you say that he is a art guy. A couple of blank Cd's if he burns them for music. A gift card of so of where he is most likely to use it himself. I believe that he will appreciate your thought of getting himself something that he can use.

Figure out what he does like, and make a basket. Coffee lover? a nice mug, a selection of unique coffees. Maybe a modest gift card in the center for a coffee store.
Is he a foodee? Gift certificate to a kitchen wares store.
Check out the newspaper, and get him concert tickets, or to a music production, or to an art galery showing.
Does he have a car? A gift card for a detailing.
A subscription to a music/art geek magazine.
