I've also had very strong headaches for years and the only thing that controlls them for me is going to the chiropractor. For the most part, even if you don't believe in chiropractors it's good to go see one, be strait forward about either liking or disliking being cracked, not believing in the practice, whatever, but be sure you stick with it for a few weeks and give it a try. I love getting cracked, but my husband doesn't, we go to the same chiro and he treats us totally different. I found my headaches were comming from, get this, my head not being on strait!!!! My head litterally sat off to the side of my neck. I would take three alleve and take a long nap with a heating pad and still wake up with the headache for days at a time. It became very dibilitating. Now, every time I feel my neck tightening up, I go to the chiro, he adjusts me and tada! It's gone by the next day.

I also have been told that allergies and sinus problems could be causing the headaches. Chiropractors are open to a lot of things and any of the good ones out there should be willing to tell you to go to the dr when you need to. Hope this helps! Send me a note if you like!

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck.
Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at

You probably have migraines, perhaps due to stress. But there are other unlikely possibilities that only a doctor can check. I knew a woman who had horrible headaches for years. Finally, it was diagnosed that she had an aneurysm in the brain that could have burst and killed her. See your doctor. Or find a new one.

Do you find you have a sore jaw? Especially in the morning? If so you may clench your jaw when you sleep and this could be causing your headaches. I had this problem and I mentioned it to my dentist and he was able to treat me and now I no longer have headaches!! This may not be what is causing yours but you never know.

They're probably migraines, but you should go to a specialist and get your skull checked. Reoccurring headaches could be a symptom of a undetected brain tumor. I don't want to scare you or anything, just to get it checked out by a specialist.
