The theft accounts "should" be removed fairly fast, probably within 30 days. Sometimes it isn't easy for an ID theft victim to get negative reporting removed, unfortunately.
Just keep after them if they don't remove them within 30 days.
If they keep reporting them after the 30 days, file an online complaint with the FTC. Then send another dispute to the credit reporting agencies along with a printout copy of the FTC complaint and the police report.
Your scores should rise right after the accounts are removed.

You did well to file a police report after reviewing your THREE credit reports and detecting fraud.
Quickly, contact all credit reporting agencies demanding a fraud alert be placed in your file.
Experian, in particular, tends to challenge people who claim fraud...hence the police report.
Now, dispute all fraudulent listings and then debt validate with the Creditors. Don't just fax -- send dispute letters. Do this right the first time.
Doing it right will minimize the time it takes to clear your files of fraudulent activity. None of us know the answer to your question about how long it will take.
Even if we knew the exact extent of damage to your files, we still wouldn't know how long the Creditors and Credit Reporting Agencies will take to resolve your unfortunate situation.
On the bright side, your 564 could be much worse with any fraudulent activity.
Best of luck,
Mike

As long as you have proof that you had nothing to do with those accounts or charges, then keep sending it to all the Credit Reporting Agencies. Keep at them. They will try to deny your claims at first, but don't give up. Call, send letters, e-mail, etc. Do what you have to do to get that stuff off of your credit report. Make sure that they delete it. Because you have to fight with all the Credit Reporting Agencies, it could take a month to a year to clear it all up. But it's worth it in the end.

Try Chase, you can get $250 when you sign up and make a purchase. I got this info from this blog,

thats so sad... your one of the 10 million people per year who get nailed by criminals.
you would think the states would ALL allow citizens/consumers to "lock" or "freeze" their credit reports (not allowing new accounts opened without our consent) like CA, NJ does.
make sure you raise hell with your reps, ask them why they dont allow people to 'freeze' their credit reports for consumer protection... so others dont have to be victims either.
maybe we can cut the % of victims if we all raise cane about it.
your credit report will not be cleared up until they feel you are indeed telling the truth... then they will remove any accounts that are not yours.
if they give you a hard time, make sure you report it to the FTC (links below). report the theft anyway, so its on record.
1) run a free credit report from each agency (your allowed one free one per year, per agency). you need to know, so you need to get them.
2) if ID Theft has occured, you need to make a police report first. the rest of what you need to do, is listed in the links below (with GREAT info too).
3) some states allow you to 'lock' or 'freeze' credit reports; to protect against theft. if your state allows it, lock 'em down. that way, no one can open an account on them.
4) once you discover their credit reports have activity on them, then contact each credit reporting agency (the 3 major ones) and report the ID Theft... and request the lock on the reports (usually they automatically do it, but ask for it anyway).
