What diffent types of U.S army Infantry?

Well, since I have no idea who you are. I will tell you this. There are infantrymen who climb mountains, jump out of planes, roll across deserts at 70km/hr, and then there are the real bad azzes. They just appear out of vapor, kill you before you know that you are dead, and disappear into a vapor of smoke. It takes some training to accomplish this. The coolest of all don't really fight. They are kind of like teachers. They teach others how to defend themselves.

1. Light Infantry, typically with austere organic transport

2. Airborne Infantry, typically with few vehicles, dropped into the assault by Parachute at times

3. Air Assault Infantry, usually moved by Rotary wing aircraft

4.Mechanized Infantry, typically in M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicles

5. Motorized Infantry, typically in Stryker's

6. Ranger Infantry, can be moved by Helicopter, Aircraft, RSOV, Foot, etc.

ok all of these people are telling you some of the "skill training's" that u can obtain with the 11 series. Technically there are only two, three if your count senior enlisted, types of Infantry!!! You have your 11B's, basic infantry is what its called and then you have 11C's, these guys are the ones that cover your *** with mortars!!!

Hmmmm,

Straight Leg Infantry = you walk everywhere you go.

Airborne Infantry = you jump out of airplanes and then you walk everywhere you go.

Mechanized Infantry = you ride to your destination and then you walk everywhere you go after that.

Go Special Forces,you might as well be the best trained killer if you are going in.
