Only because veneers are way out of my budget.

but i have some questions like since my teeth are crooked and i have a gap will they fix that or would it be harder for them to go on?

and would I have to replace every 'N' number of years?

and do they yellow after some time?

and if anyone has other info about it or a website that'd be much appreciated !!

There usually isn't that much difference in veneer or crown price. My personal preference is the crown due to years of experience with veneers that just don't hold up nearly as well as a full crown.

Yes, with the full crown the gap and the crooked can be corrected to a certain degree. Some patients say it's like having instant orthodontics. The veneers can close a gap but are not quite as effective in correcting the crooked appearance as the full crown.

Crowns can last anywhere from a few years to over twenty years depending on what your oral hygiene is like. Most patients who have veneers have difficulty keeping them on or from getting chipped. I just don't think they are as lasting as full crowns.

Neither yellow over time, they are made the natural shade of your teeth. Your teeth will darken over time, but the crowns or veneers won't.

If you need any more information just google or yahoo porcelain veneers or porcelain crowns and check out some sites. I'm sorry I can't be more supportive of the veneers, I've just seen too many of them that just don't work well and patients that have given up and went with a full crown later. I feel my self (and I have 2) that the full coverage is stronger and has just as much of a natural appearance as veneers. Hope I've been of some help with this and good luck with which ever you decide to go with.

HeatherS has given you GREAT advise!
I just wanted to add my perspective as a crown recipient. I have porcelain crowns on two of my front teeth. I had decay and a gap . The crowns corrected both problems perfectly . My crowns are the same shade as my other teeth. I drink tea and coffee and over the five years that I have had them the color has not changed at all. They look perfect and feel no different than my natural teeth.
