March is a perfect time to fly a kite. 3's love it and you can get them for a $1 at Wal Mart.

Library. Most have toddler/preschool days. They are normally a good time. Even if they don't it is fun to go and look at the Big Books and the favorite movie section. The movies are free!

McDonalds play place. Most children love them.

Chuck E Cheese or any family center like that. Go during the day while the school age children are in school. So much fun. Or go first thing when they open and you'll have the place to yourself.

With spring coming get out your walking shoes. 3s love to go on walks. Wagon rides are a lot of fun too.

Water Parks in the summer. Our state park has a great water park that cost $3 to get in for instate residences. You can't beat it.

If you live near the beach go and collect shells. Any day that isn't freezing is a beach day.

We started to go bowling when my son was 3. They have child sized ball (in the back), bumpers, and a ramp they can use so the ball has some speed.

At 3 they can finally sit through a movie! Woohoo.

Go Carts are fun.

He can now play board games. Get out Candy Land and Memory. He'll have a great time.

Hide and Seek. Best game in the world for grown ups and kids.

Children love spending time with their parents doing almost anything. Take advantage of that time. The simplest things are new and fun to a child.

We also take a trip to the please touch museum every summer. He loves it. See if you have any in your area.

Good Luck. SD

My 3 year old and I recently took up painting pottery on my day off We go to a pottery shop and sit and paint for a couple of hours at a time, then go back the next week to pick up our masterpieces!

I really didn't expect her to sit in one place for very long, so I was pleasantly surprised at how much she loves it! My 7 year old son also enjoys it and goes with us on his days off from school.
