maggie mae, it has to be more than that. You said nothing about respect and fedility and trust. They're all intertwind. with out the whole package you have a lust bomb that will go off, hopefully before the marriage

sorry mary, great answer, but you quoted a mind control device, and even if its heart is in the right place on that one, doesnt mean that it is all around, which disqualifies you from my ten points.

Love is not Love in this day and age.
love SHOULD be a emotion that cant be destroyed by friends or family.
Love is to me something I have never truly felt because I'll be married by now. Some people mistaken love for attraction, sex, and chemistry but thats not it , love is when a person ends up handicapped and cant move or anything your still there. Love is a real strong four letter word.

Love - best described in the bible. For me - God is Love.
1 Corinthians 13:1-7
Love Is the Greatest
If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it;[a] but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
1 Corinthians 13:13
Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.

Recent studies in neuroscience have indicated that
a consistent number of chemicals are present in the
brain when people testify to feeling love.
These chemicals include; Testosterone,
Oestrogen, Dopamine, Norepinephrine,
Serotonin, Oxytocin, and Vasopressin.
More specifically, higher levels of Testosterone
and Oestrogen are present during the lustful phase
of a relationship. Dopamine, Norepinephrine,
and Serotonin are more commonly found during
the attraction phase of a relationship.
Oxytocin, and Vasopressin seemed to be more
closely linked to long term bonding and relationships
characterized by strong attachments.

Love is something that cannot - even by Webster's - be defined. It is a feeling, an action, a drive...it is something that can unite people in a way that nothing else in this world can.
It is an emotion that can break barriers. It is as simple as the difference between a smile and a tear...or as complicated as the difference between war and peace.
Love is an underestimated force in our quest for eternal peace and unity.

Honestly. I could write you a book on it from what i've expierenced. But you know what. It could mean absolutely nothing to you because I can't teach you about love. You teach yourself my dear. Its all different.
All i know is that love is a strong emotion. Unpredictable and can strike at anytime. Its the closest thing to magic within.
And it makes us do the craziest things and makes the impossible... possible.

love is friendship set on fire
love is the little things
love is looking into their eyes and KNOWING
It's when that person is your best friend and then some.
It's when you think about them all the time
When you feel you could spend the rest of your life with them.
When you want nothing more than to be with them
When you feel like having that person is a blessing from God
All of the above

It is a chemical reaction in the brain which affects the rest of your body when you are with or thinking of the one special person you share your life with.

Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, (love) is not pompous, it is not inflated,
it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury,
it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth.
It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails....... So faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
FROM: 1 corinthians 13 vs 3-5....i dont think it gets any clearer than that!!

Love is....when you are with someone who cares about you and loves you back. Love is having kids and watching them grow up into wonderful adults....love is growing old with your soul mate and setting on the porch in rocking chairs. Love is me and my family.

love is just a natural thing. you can't control it and you can't pick the ones that you want to love.
it makes you feel good about yourself. and you can't stop thinking about the person that you love.
