Dogs just like to eat grass; they like the taste of it. It shouldn't be harmful to him, as long as there aren't any pesticides on the grass, or anything else chemical.

Eating grass helps dogs with digestion and also if they have an upset stomach eating grass helps. But if a dog eats grass it helps digest their food. Pick a dog food with the first ingreadient a turkey, lamb, or chicken. No poultry by products or corn. Good Luck.

Dogs will eat grass if they are feeling a bit sick and like someone else said it helps with digestion. My dog sasha used to eat grass every day but she had kidney disease and she ate it cos she felt sick all the time

One reason a dog may eat grass is to aid in his digestion. Since most dogs don't get real "fiber" in their diet, they may get it from other sources, in this case grass. Although some pet foods do have vegetables in the mix.

A dog will usually only eat grass if he or she has an upset stomach. It's not something that you should discourage or be worried about.
