Okay, how do you say "spoiled" (as in, a spoiled child) in French? I know that if I look it up, it'll direct me to "to spoil," as in, spoiled milk. Or, what's a non-colloquial synonym for spoiled, that would be easier to translate?

Sorry, I'm having a brainfart.

To be spoiled = être gâté(e)

If the word is feminine then you add another "e."

For example,

Le petit gaçon est gâté = The little boy is spoiled.

La petite fille est gâtée. = The little girl is spoiled.

L'enfant est gâté = The child is spoiled.

a spoilt child, or a brat, as we refer to in english would be
"gâté". A colloquial sense would be foutu.
So you can say " Lui, il est completement gâté" meaning he's totally spoilt, that guy.

For substances like milk, perishable goods, you say "Périmé"

so, SOMETHING (quelque chose) can be Périmé,

and SOMEONE (quelqu'un) can be gâté

Hope that helps!
Peace,
mi
