Stay away from Evercrap, I'm sorry Everlast their equipment is complete and total garbage. Any major boxing equipment company who sells their equipment at the malls or sporting goods store is just out for profit.

The highest quality head gears you can but are either Grant or Reyes. Grant boxing products can be purchased through Grant.com and Reyes can be purchased through Ringside.com both are hand made from the highest quality leathers in Mexico.

Get the head gears with the cheek protectors, great protection. If you have a bad nose, one that bleeds easy or you just don't like to get it hit Reyes offers a face saver headgear with a bar going across the front of it to keep any blows from hitting your nose. I highly recommend not wearing this one at the gym when there's other fighters around.

Remember you paying for quality no cheap equipment a really go headgear is not cheap. It will cost you over $100 but heck. were writing about your head and face.

Thanks for the question

There is three main brands i would recommend. Reyes headgear is really good specially if you get the full protector which has an iron bar across the nose for complete protection. Gant is also really good but a lil below Reyes quality. If you are willing to spend a good amount of money get Winning headgear this Japanese brand is used by many pros. Very well built and fit, the only draw back is the price. Since they are made only in Japan at the current dollar-Jen exchange rate you would pay a fortune. just don't buy evercrap ok.

Reyes, and Fight Gear are good brands. I got an old Mexican style Reyes headgear that's about 12 years old, it's got the cheek protectors that Santana was talking about. Even though it's been sitting in the closet for that long I have complete confidence in it. I'll kick the dust off of it and use it next week when I spar for the first time in a long time.

As mentioned before Reyes Grant and fight gear and I'm not sur if they didn't get bought out but Titan was a good affordable headgear. Most of this stuff is mail order so make sure to give them your headsize otherwise you'll get one too small or too big. This is the most important peice of training equipment you'll have to buy as a boxer and it's not where you want to go cheap.
