Only if your insecure about it it does. Your wasting your time going after women who are only interested in you for your car. Those are the kind of women who will give you herpes.

Some women will see your car & either say, 'Well it's crappy, but what a nice personality' Or they might say, 'Ugh, if I get too serious with him is this my future? A crapp car?' It depends on the women you're looking for. Fast & Furious or Nice & slow?
Also, as an aside, knew a person (He was sorta a friend, but not really) in high school who had the coolest convertible & all the kids would ride with him. But then it went into the shop for two weeks & then when he had to drive to school in a doley truck, all his friends mysteriously disappeared!
Moral of the story: You'll know your real friends & people by what they stick with you with, not all the cool gadgets you got.

Ok..YOU will look cooler driving a better car..and more girls will want to date you ..BUT are they dating you for you or are they dating you because of your car..if you date a girl that doesnt care about your hooptie then she is more likely dating you because of YOU and what you have to offer..See what I mean..
PS..Thats why you see the fat bald ugly men with corvettes with a Model as a girlfriend SHE is dating the CAR not him...or maybe his WALLET.. is that what you want.. or would you rather her be intrested in YOU..?

Are you looking for 'kiddie' romance or 'mature' romance? A kid will go giddy over a nice ride. A mature person seeing you in an expensive car will see that you are in debt. In a used car a mature person will assume that you've put your money into better paying investments.

that never bothered me. I drive a crappy car because I work at home so I have no need to have a nice shiny new car in the parking lot all the time.

Uh. if a girl is just with you because of your looks & car, then, fyi - she's really not into you.
my boyfriend & i are necessarily the coolest people around, (we have dreadlocks & we're quite lame, actually) but the thing is, we love eachother more than anything, and we dont let stupid opinions ruin our relationship/thoughts about eachother.
a girl should care more about personality, rather than your economical status or your looks.

If you have a reasonable "date" she'll look past your car and see you for you. Who cares? It's just a car. It gets you from Point A to Point B.
