Permission for a muslim man to beat his wife if she doesnt obey to him:
Sura 4:34: “Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in their sleeping places and ****beat them****; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great.”

According to the verse you have posted, rape is NOT an option. So, no.

Corporal punishment that DOES NOT cause injury is allowed. So, you are not allowed to beat her. Again, no! If you are trying to live "according to the Quran", and you inflict so much as ONE BRUISE on your wife, you are in sin!

The most you are allowed to do is cut her off from your support financially, stop speaking to her, and a light spanking.

Of course, if you have reached the point where she does not want physical intimacy, she probably won't care about the first or second, and will whack you with an enforcer for the third!

I don't follow the Quran, btw. Just going on the "scripture" you posted.

Crime against anyone is a horrible thing and should not be done, whether in the name of Islam or not. Some, moreover a small percentage of religious groups encourage violence. These relgious groups are a form of the evil on this Earth, and Islam is certainly not one of those religons. In fact, suicide bombers have been known to take life "in the name of Allah". However, the Koran specificlly states somewhere that violence is not okay with Allah. If violence is not okay with Allah, rape is not as well.

Hmmm Islam v's Christanity over lady rights. i might say it replaced right into a tie with them the two having the comparable fettish over sexuality. ou can look at a society like a individual and by thier strikes how developed they are. As the two look smitten by sexuality that ought to cause them to the two youngsters. youngsters react in 2 information on the thank you to intercourse, they the two develop into slappers or replace into over religious. No ask your self the international is having problems. lol lol lol. (further) the real clarification for men to prefer to regulate their women people plenty is using the fact women have not have been given any doubts as to who thier offspring are. men on the different hand can in no way comprehend one hundred%. yet as a replace of placing their women loose they might fairly inprison them out of spite. The ego's of fellows trash many a woman's existence, yet disguesd and all in the call of a few synthetic faith.

Thank God I am not a moslim and do not have to live reading koran. I rather watch xxx movie, which is not allowed in Saudi Arabia but all wealthy Saudi's watch at home.

I read Sura 4:34 and it clearly states 'beat them', that means beat them.

Moslims fundamentalists can say what ever they want and translate it in any ways. This sentence is not misunderstood or misused, it clearly mention 'beat them' which means "beat the hell out of your wife",

It does not say light spanking or feather touch, it is BEAT THEM, that means beat them. That sucks any ways. Accept it, don't change the subject.

Rape her? Islam does not say that, stop your ignorance.

And 4:34 does not say that. Thats your version
“As to those women on whose part you see ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (next) refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly, if it is useful); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). Surely, Allaah is Ever Most High, Most Great”

[al-Nisa’ 4:34]

Beating 'lightly' is allowed as a last resort, i.e. after talking with them, then distancing from them, that too its more like touching as it should not cause any bruising. Plus it goes for women who are involved in ill-conduct.

I THINK NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO BEAT ANYONE.
IF ISLAM TEACHES THAT THEN IT IS NOT A BOOK OF MY LORD ...MY SAVIOR WOULD NEVER ALLOW ANYONE TO HARM ME, OR STATE THAT IT IS ETHICAL.
