XuXu . Small, diferent and in my country Brazil means a legume and also we use to call "xuxu" anything really cute and delicious. My dog is a "xolo" breed, from Mexico,
similar to Chihuauas , and he really loves his name.

How about Peanut, my kids just named ours Peanut - so cute. Or Mimi, or poochie (an old toy from the 80's with pink hair I use to have one).
