Ring worm is very very contagious.
Your kitten probably already has it and now you probably do too.
Keep an eye out on a sore spot and then you will need to see your MD, and your vet will need to give you meds for the kitten too.

Yes. Microsporum canis in particular is highly infectious. It can be passed from cat to cat, dog to cat, cat to dog, cat to human, human to cat etc.

How does a cat become infected with ringworm?

A cat can become infected with ringworm either by direct exposure with an infected animal or via the environment, such as contaminated bedding, grooming equipment, carpet & furniture. The spores are attached to the hairs, which are shed into the environment & can remain infective for up to 13 months.

If one kitten has ringworm, they all have it. To see if it has ringworm get a black light, turn out all the light and pass the light over the cat, it will glow. You need to get to the vet for medicine and you need to wash all his blankets and toys off. Also when you handle him you must wash your hands off or you will get the ringworm.

It is a possibility just the same as getting the cat flu and fleas especially since you said one of it's litter mates had it Big W and most supermarkets sell worming medication for dogs and cats, but if you can't find anything suitable for your kittens age your local vet may be more helpful.

Probably, and if it does you do too. Go to the vet and your Dr. because you'll both need medication. Be careful about touching any affected area because those little buggers spread like poison ivy. Sorry to hear this...hope you are both better soon.
