OK I'll try to make this short. I dated my ex for a short time then HE ended it. He's 26, I'm 21. He has lots of experience with dating, while he was my first kiss & first bf. Our relationship was so innocent, cuddling in his room, holding hands, kissing. We never had sex cuz he knew I wanna save sex for marriage. He would still say hi to me on msn even though HE ended it. It has been over for more than ONE YEAR. 2 months ago, he called me, after one yr. & wanted to make plans together so we could see a movie sometime. We set a date, he picked me up & after the movie he took me home. IOn the drive home, when I asked him why he wanted to see me, he said that he wants to "see me every once in awhile". I felt disrespected so when I got home I said "bye forever" to him on msn. Then I felt bad so a week later I said sorry to him on msn. Since then I have said hi to him 2 on msn. Then a few days ago he said hi to me on msn & he wanted to know what I had been up to.

Do you think he may wanna hang out again? But why does he wanna hangout after one year? Does he miss me or is he just playing with me?

It depends on the kind of guy he is. I see it as this :
A. he doesn't want to let go of you. Some people will find someone they know they want to be with for real one day, but aren't ready for the commitment. So they hold onto them as a friend until they're ready.
B. he missed you. He probably had a few rough relationship and got to thinking about how much he enjoyed being with you.
C. He saw you again and was attracted to you. Also happens relatively often with men. He saw you, remember how much he loved your *** and decided he wanted another shot.
D. He wants some ***. I wouldn't rely on this one too much considering your a virgin.
I think you should let it go. Do NOT talk to him about it. Most women will tell you that's the first thing you should do but it will only make you insecure and him feel crowded. Just go with the flow and enjoy it. try not to analyze too much, okay?

Maybe he just enjoys your company men and women can be Friends even after dating. I am Friends with one of my ex-girlfriends even though we had a long and intimate relationship we even lived together for a short wile. The breakup was hard on both of us because we were good Friends but didn't want to be B/F & G/F any more. We didn't talk for awile but then we became freinds again. Now I call her with any girl problems and she calls me with her boy problems its kinda like having a spy on the other side feeding you info.
From the guys point of view there are somethings that you just can't talk to your guy freinds about but a old girl freind you can.

Maybe he just wanna remain on good terms with you, and he doesn't want the breakup to be bitter or anything. He probably didn't know his actions might trigger wrong signals to you though. If you're not totally over him, it's best that you ex communicate with him, to avoid getting hurt or have mixed feelings. When you're totally over him in the future, then probably it will be ok to say Hi to him once in a while and not treat him like strangers.

WELL JUST BECAUSE HE ENDED DOESNT MEAN THAT YOU 2 STiLL CANT BE FRiENDS. i MEAN SO WHAT iF HE ENDED iT. JUST B/C HE DiD DOESNT MEAN ANYTHiNG. SO i THINK THAT iT'S OKAY FOR YOU GUYS TO JUST HANG OUT AND CHiLL i MEAN iT'S REALLY NOT THAT BAD. well maybe he just wants to be friends ? if you really want to know what's up then ask him . is he hinting anything about getting back together ? do you know if he is in a relationship right now ? if you are uncomfortable then just don't communicate with him at all .
