I broke up with my boyfriend of 2.5years a little less than a month ago. About a week ago, i had a change of heart, only to find out that he has another girlfriend and they've been going out for he says 2-3 weeks and prior to that they did not even know each other. And tomorrow she is sleeping over his house. This is not jealousy and i truly made a mistake and am willing to wait and work it out, but I need to know does this sound like a rebound relationship to u? He says he really likes her, but what else would he say? He also says he loves me and likes me more, but has to do it because he's afraid i'll hurt him and i need some growing time. I think its a rebound because they're moving awfully fast. Any suggestions on what I should do? be his friend, not talk to him? try and subtly get b/w them?

Rebound.... most definitely! I would let him get this out of his system. The guy is scared that if you two get back together there may be the same result. You must have hurt him and he is trying to fill a void. Put yourself in his shoes, what was wrong in the first place to make you leave? Was it him? And if it was, he doesn't want to feel like that. Frankly, i don't think you would if the situation were in reverse. Give the guy some time, If it is meant to be, it will be.

you need to take a break from this guy. if he dumps her and comes back to you, what does that say? he's on the rebound AGAIN. you need to take a month or 2 off and reallly do some thinking about why you broke up, what you'll do differently next time, what you really want in a BF that you didn't get from him.

he sounds messed up. you don't need that baggage on top of your own. take some time and clear your head. good luck.

She's his rebound. Act as you don't care (DON"T care) but be kind and still be his friend. Just act like it wasn't happening. Actually help him w/ his relationship. It'll freak him out. Oh and im just 13 so u don't have to take my advice.

Best thing you can do is to just talk to him, and make him your friend, and when you want to get back with him, just wait until he breaks up with her again. Rebounds usually do not work out very well.
