1st: I'm amazed at the amount of responses and thank the legitimate ones. 2nd not that it matters but its not me, its a friend of mine. 3rd I think all the racists commenters should live the life of a mexican before commenting. Try living with a truley corrupt government or cross a dessert for days or have your wife rapped by US border patrol while trying to find work to feed your family.

Your only choice is to go back and do it LEGALLY. If you get caught and get deported, then you will have to wait until you are a 35 year old man from Mexico. If you go back now and apply you will probably gain legal status within 10yrs. Think about it, and I am being dead serious about this, there are so many people illegally coming into the U.S., that they are not even applying for Citizenship, so the list isn't as long as you may think. You could put yourself closer to the top of the list if you would act on this quickly. I am dead serious when I tell you there is no other way to obtain LEGAL STATUS in the U.S.. Sorry but I am only stating facts. If you don't believe me you can go into the INS website.

He shouldn't because he obviously already has no respect for the laws of this country. We have plenty of ways for a decent hard-working people to enter legally, I know many of them who came from the Dominican, Mexico, Ecuador, and plenty of other South American countries, who had little trouble getting the required papers and documentations. We don't make it impossible but if your caught here you better believe it will be. Yes, I have heard of some sort of protection for illegals who have been here for awhile but I don't know much on that except it probably won't last thru too many more years. Your best bet would be to go back home and then try.

Show some respect for the many people who fought for this country and return to Mexico, and apply for citizenship the right way. While your in Mexico advise everyone you meet that we only want them here if they cant respect our laws and our way of life. Without respect for our laws, how can we believe you want to be a productive part of our society? You have no right to be here, in essence you re a guest, and all ready your breaking our laws.

The only way to obtain citizenship is by legal means - which means following the established rules.

It isn't difficult. Many have done it - many still follow that system. It is only those that want to bypass the laws of a country and do not respect them that think that they shouldn't have to.

First, take a ride down to the local ICE office, there's one in Philly, another in NYC, turn yourself in, take the deportation, then wait the 10 years to apply LEGALLY.

Go home and apply at the US embassy or consulate in Mexico. Then wait your turn like LEGAL people do.
