Just to give the girl what she wants to hear. If a guy says "oh i like you but were going to eventually break up" which is true.. You probably will. But if you tell the girl that..It's only natural to think he doesn't like her. Or get scared you will loose him.

Good Question. some guys do think that they are going to be with a girl forever and sometimes it works and sometimes it don't. It sometimes don't work because they usual get in a fight and they break up or the girl just falls out of love with him or the opposite way. Its just what happens.

Well i guess that they believe for real thats the way they want it, until they find some one els to fall in love with.
Some of them do stay a life time.
