my ex and i of 2 years broke up a little over a month now, but its the strangest breakup ever. for practically all of our relationship, he was deeply depressed.he is diagnosed as being a chronic liar, having ADHD, Depression, and OCD.i think that when i was w. him i tried2not pay attention2his behavior&i was always very supportive of him.about 3 weeks b4 he broke up w.me he began taking antidepressants.impulsively 1day he told me he didnt need me nemore bc his meds made him happy, then he told me i was depressed&that i should take the meds too bc theyre "just great"?? 2 days later he was trying2kiss me in the halls(something we never even did when we were 2gether)&he was acting like nothing happend?so he asked me back out, then 3 days after that he broke up w. me again&acted like he didnt care. he's been hooking up with girls like crazy, starting just days after the breakup (meanwhile we never had sex)&hes had over 4 partners in just 4 weeks?what in the world is going on with him?!?

Hi
Trust me on this.
If two beggars marry beggary increases. He is short of happiness and is running around trying to find it everywhere.I have sympathy for him but he needs a doctor and counselling.A relation with him would not be normal but a series of sacrifices etc etc decide if you want to take that.
Just like a lame person cannt walk a mentally insane person cannot function normally its not his fault its the sad truth and in my view present research and medication are insufficient totally.
Do not mistake me but this is the truth. If I were you I would inform his parents and get the hell out of the way and start my life over.
May peace find us all

hmmm, bipolar is a nasty manic illness, my friend killed her self at new year after suffering the mental emotional roller coaster, this time last year i knew she was going to do something stupid one day but thought her family had her under control, victims of this terrible disease are in denial and show signs of manic and depressive behaviour, the best thing you can do is let his family in on your suspisions and advise they seek professional advice, if i knew then what i know now i would of done my best to have my friend locked up until she was well.

I think it is addict behavior. He could be acting out because he is still unhappy about himself and supplementing it with women. Do not be a co-dependant and let him walk all over you, work on yourself, and who knows, you could be depressed because he is a total drag.

Put this behind you, and have as little as possible to do with him, or you will suffer even more.
