Does this study that has to do with both age of the father and coffee drinking independent of age answer any questions?

What about studying the germ line of parents? Those genes could be different than the genes in the rest of the body.

well, it sounds like they are approaching the problem from a different angle now. that could be very good news for a potential cure. it means scientists are realizing an autistic child is born to parents who don't carry an austistic "gene" or have any history of it in their families but had a c hild with it anyway. so maybe they will study t h ose children directly and not just focus on what they have or have not inherited from family members.

She's right............ I can speak from experience ........there's no one in our family who's autistic.

And we have a son w/ autism.

Genes do play a huge role in this...........but it doesn't necessary mean .........that it's inherited.
