I've been wearing glasses for over 40 years, albiet different prescriptions every few years, but I've never heard of this. And I'm sure if it caused bulging eyes, they would figure something out to prevent this. Best to ask an optometrist.

I have never heard of wearning glasses long term to cause this.If your prep. is o stroung for your eyes you wil have to get a stronger pair of glasses leter in life. You should not worry about what that lady said,it will not cause that proumblem.

I have actually found that people who wear glasses for many years, seem to have their eyes deeper in their head, so that you can actually easily see if someone wears glasses, when they temporarily don't.

She's mistaken. There are medical conditions, such as Graves' disease that can cause them, and conditions such as Cruzon's syndrome,. but I'm not aware of any scientific studies that prove your friend's claim.
