Is this a trick question. If your believe system is based on some kind of aggregate understanding then the 'Soul' is already eternal. Most people seem to agree that the most distinctive flavour of this dense, physical 'reality' is one of suffering, for many, perhaps even the majority.

So why would you trade an eternity of ...........what ( well that's the real nub of the question isn't it ?), for an eternity of suffering ???

The point is that when we enter this realm we forget all that exists outside of it, if we didn't we probably couldn't cope with the restrictions of the physical.

So..........I'll stick with Plan A. thank you very much.

First, define eternal life: This lifetime? or life after death? Your true self never dies, it just moves from this earthly body to another plane of existence. And even IF you could sell your soul, and keep your present body forever, don't you think that (A) you wouldn't have much of a life without your soul? and (B) you'd get tired of this body and this plane of existence at some point?

As a Christian, we don't need to sell our souls. We ask Jesus to be Lord and it is a free gift. All have eternal life. The question is where it will be spent.

Not a chance! Look at the world now. Give yourself a shake. Who would want to live here for all eternity with all the greed and selfishness in the world. You must be joking.

It is not possible to sell your soul, not as a commodity. However, people do sell their faith for worldly gain, which is close enough to losing your soul. It is an illness of the heart as the person is reduced to its animal self, whose awareness of the world resembles the perception of other certain wild animals, such as monkeys and swine, or hyenas.

For example, human society will frown upon people like female 'Gold diggers', superficial and shallow women who are essentially prostituting themselves. Such poverty of spirit brings about a natural aversion in people who see it as behavior more typical of wild animals.

The human conscience, the soul's inspiration as to it's right and wrong-doing is a sign itself of judgement day.

No way!!! You don't know what happens when we die yet, we might get to meet up wid all the people you know who've died, and then you could have a massive party! If you had eternal life you might still get old and not be able to do much, but like...forever!

well, you dont need to because if youre a Christian you would get both eternal life (in heaven) and your soul. as stated in John 3:16

-"For God so loved the world that he gave....whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life"

Sell it to whom? Satan? No way. My soul will one day die. I will be dead and lay in the grave until Jesus resurrects me. Hopefully I will get a new body(SOUL) and live for all eternity.
