...but they don't ask me out. I don't think I'd qualify as a guy's girl, but guys are always making conversation with me and I have a large circle of male friends and aquaintances (and few female friends, I don't generally get along with other girls). What gives?

unfortuantly they may only see you as friend material or they are just being guys and everythin but you'll get one in due time you just gotta be patient.

look u most be real pretty and the guys there scared to be rejected so thats why they dont ask u out or they think that you to good that they only have a chance to talk to u as a friend

you're just the kind of girl that guys like to talk to as a friend, but wouldn't really be gf material, in their eyes. dont worry, sooner or later one of them will realize how much he likes you and will ask you out.
