Firstly, you might like talking to your Child Health Nurse to make sure there's no medical reasons why your daughter is refusing food. The CHN may also have some ideas on how to resolve oral aversion problems.

My son did not seem interested in solids until he was well over 12mths. When he slowed (and stopped) in his growth from 10mths to 14mths, the paediatrician was very concerned as his haemaglobin was quite low. I did a food diary for a week to see exactly what he was eating. The paed was happy with the range just not the amount.

Firstly, we increased breastfeeds (which is the opposite of what the paed suggested) and then we continued offering a range of nutrituous food and not taking no for an answer. With toddlers, they often refuse foods the first few times. But if you follow the Rule of Ten Tries (try the food 10 times and you may find you like it), your daughter may end up eating more than she has before.

If there is one food that she likes (porridge/oatmeal) you can increase her consumption of that for a start and then keep adding other stuff to it until you have more 'other stuff' and less porridge/oatmeal.

If she likes cake, make some muffins and add lots of healthy fillings, try savoury muffins. There are lots of ideas for kids' food on parenting websites and in books at your local library.

Keep going, sounds like you're doing all the right things.

Try mashing the food together and feeding it to her that way or you can just give her what you want her to eat and she may not eat it at first but when she gets hungery enough she will eat anything you give her. I know this sounds mean but it is a really good way to change your child's eating habits.
