my buddy is 17 and has never had a gf. we always try to get him one, but he always freaks out and leaves either the dates, the talks or the phone conversations. can anyone give us sum advice to help him cause it's sad

Your buddy will date when he's ready. Since he's 17, he has his whole life ahead of him. No, it isn't sad. He's just not ready.
He doesn't seem very comfortable with girls. Maybe you could just hang out in a group and invite a few girls over.
Other than that, I really wouldn't worry about it.
That is, unless this is the same situation 30 years later.

no just kidding, i think that u r putting a lot of pressure on him, and that u should let him do it on his own. u ve shown him how much u support him, so im pretty sure that he actually apreciates that, but probably he freks out because u guys are putting a lot of presure on him, and when he might feel frustrated when that happens to him, cuz he knows he s pretty much the only one in the group without a date. so my opinion is try to support him, by letting him approach to the girl he likes on his own time. dont be too hasty. he s still young, even though teens nowadays are f*cking since they are like 12, not everybody matures as fast, and he might still need to grow up a lil before doing anything with a girl.
so keep supporting him, and trying putting less pressure on him

Don't worry about your buddy. He will sumtime soon realize himself. He will get out of the shyness. You just gotta let the dude learn on his own, how to get sumbody. & dont feel sorry for him
