Depending on your reason for wanting to move out...my friends sister moved out of her moms house at age of 11. She called 911, told the operater her mother was drunk AGAIN & she didn't want to live there anymore. The police showed up. MOM was passed out drunk, beer cans filled two trash cans, the officers took her to her grandmas house. The CPS got involved. Her mother joined AA. Got her to come home. 6 months later she called 911 again, her mother was drunk AGAIN. Beer cans every where + a drunk b/f. She was immediately removed, placed back with her grandma. She then told CPS that she'd like to move in with her older sister who lived far from her mom. The state granted this. She's lived with her sis for 3 yrs now.
At 16 you can get a job & try to support yourself. But you must hire a lawyer severing your parents rights. Like divorcing your parents, ask for child support...macully culkin did it!
Call Child Protective Services in your area and ask them. They would know. Every state has different laws. Good luck!

The legal age at which time your parents are no longer legally responsible for you is 18. You've got three more years.
