how much are these troops for teachers getting paid?, specifically in the CNMI?

Are you talking about Troops to Teachers program? They have to go through school like anyone else - they need to be accredited as well. I believe the catch is if they teach in a "needs" area like inner city they don't have to pay back the school. I had a friend who tried to do that and I believe that was the deal.

Standard pay rates for teachers meeting the qualifications - certification, bachelor's degree etc... Here is one of the many websites. However, not all states are involved in the program.
