As you know, I am a trinitarian that believes Jesus is God, so I am trying to understand the Jesus/Michael perspective.
I was told by Achtung that this issue deserves its own question.... so here it is:
If Michael combined with Mary made Jesus, and Jesus is now Michael again....
Where did the human, Mary part of Jesus go???

joyfilled- thank you for your response... I am just trying to follow the logic... If Jesus is God...what He was before and after Jesus makes sense to me, but if Jesus is Michael, then how did He switch back to Michael after being resurrected? Where did the Mary part go?

Ishvarlan - If Jesus was resurrected as Michael, I am seriously interested in knowing HOW He changed from Jesus (who had Mary in him) into Michael the Archangel (who did NOT have Mary in him).... How did this happen? Wouldn't the Bible have mentioned this important transformation? That seems like a significant event.

Because they believe that Jesus was a created being......so that cover's their twisted logic by using Michael.
I pray that they would see the error of their ways and get out of it now while they still can.
May the Holy Spirit of promise indwell them like He does us....

Dear Anna,
This is an excellent question. I can certainly commiserate with you in being baffled.
Last December when I was talking to a lovely Watchtower Witness couple about Michael I told them that I've read the Bible from cover-to-cover many times and nowhere, absolutely nowhere does it say anything anywhere near close to what jws say about Michael being Jesus.
The couple gave me one of their books and assured me that I would find book, chapter and verse for all the proof I would need. I think the book is called What the Bible Really Says.
I did read the book and the only thing that I could agree with is that it is a good idea to read the Bible from beginning to end every year and that it can be done by reading about 3 chapters every day.
The book really has to stretch in its claim that Michael and Jesus are one and the same. Which is amazing because with the Holy Spirit's help it doesn't take any stretch whatsoever to understand that Jesus is God the Son / God-with-us

Michael? as in the angel??? whats he got to do with the making of Jesus?
Michael and Mary didnt make Jesus, God made Jesus. Mary just gave birth to him, and looked after him while he was on Earth.

Jesus isn't Michael the Archangel. The Bible nowhere identifies Jesus as Michael (or the different angel for that count). Hebrews a million:5-8 attracts a sparkling massive difference between Jesus and the angels, “For to which of the angels did God ever say, ‘you're my Son; as we talk I even have become your Father’? Or lower back, ‘i'll be His Father, and he would be my Son’? And lower back, while God brings His firstborn into the international, He says, ‘enable all God's angels worship Him.’ In conversing of the angels He says, ‘He makes his angels winds, his servants flames of fire.’ yet related to the Son He says, ‘Your throne, O God, will final perpetually and ever, and righteousness may be the scepter of your kingdom.’” The hierarchy of heaven beings is made sparkling in this passage—angels worship Jesus who, as God, is on my own worth of worship. No angel is ever worshipped in Scripture; consequently, Jesus (worth of worship) won't be in a position to be Michael or the different angel (no longer worth of worship). The angels are referred to as sons of God (Genesis 6:2-4; activity a million:6; 2:a million; 38:7), yet Jesus is THE Son of God (Hebrews a million:8; Matthew 4:3-6). Michael the Archangel is in keeping with risk the utmost of all the angels. Michael is the only angel in the Bible who's different “the Archangel” (Jude verse 9). Michael the Archangel, nevertheless, is barely an angel. he's not God. The sparkling massive difference in the flexibility and authority of Michael and Jesus would properly be seen in comparing Matthew 4:10 the place Jesus rebukes devil, and Jude verse 9, the place Michael the Archangel “dared no longer carry a judgment of blasphemy” against devil and calls on the Lord to rebuke him. Jesus is God incarnate (John a million:a million,14). Michael the Archangel is a effective angel, yet nevertheless purely an angel.

Why we think that Michal is also Jesus;
The name of this Michael appears only five times in the Bible. The glorious spirit person who bears the name is referred to as “one of the chief princes,” “the great prince who has charge of your [Daniel’s] people,” and as “the archangel.” (Dan. 10:13; 12:1; Jude 9, RS) Michael means “Who Is Like God?” The name evidently designates Michael as the one who takes the lead in upholding Jehovah’s sovereignty and destroying God’s enemies.
At 1 Thessalonians 4:16 (RS), the command of Jesus Christ for the resurrection to begin is described as “the archangel’s call,” and Jude 9 says that the archangel is Michael. Would it be appropriate to liken Jesus’ commanding call to that of someone lesser in authority? Reasonably, then, the archangel Michael is Jesus Christ. (Interestingly, the expression “archangel” is never found in the plural in the Scriptures, thus implying that there is only one.)
Revelation 12:7-12 says that Michael and his angels would war against Satan and hurl him and his wicked angels out of heaven in connection with the conferring of kingly authority on Christ. Jesus is later depicted as leading the armies of heaven in war against the nations of the world. (Rev. 19:11-16) Is it not reasonable that Jesus would also be the one to take action against the one he described as “ruler of this world,” Satan the Devil? (John 12:31) Daniel 12:1 (RS) associates the ‘standing up of Michael’ to act with authority with “a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time.” That would certainly fit the experience of the nations when Christ as heavenly executioner takes action against them. So the evidence indicates that the Son of God was known as Michael before he came to earth and is known also by that name since his return to heaven where he resides as the glorified spirit Son of God.
