For me, feelings can be one of the toughest subjects to put into words. (I assume you're speaking of face to face
communication)
I'm sure that anyone who's explored their own inner and outer worlds has had some experience with telepathy, the 'root' language everyone is searching for.
Telepathy, supported by eye contact, facial
expressions, hand gestures, body language,
touch, objects, and the environment can communicate volumes. Consider the animals.

Facial expressions and movement of the hands. And sign language. Drawing pictures. Etc
