Alcohol on your face! that's going to make your face really dry then your going to be burdened with applying facial moisturisers. and why do you want to put alcohol on your face? if you have a cut or something just use the ointment A&D it wont dry your face up and it's going to heal whatever your trying to rub with alcohol alot faster, and get rid of the dark spots. if it's for cleaning purposes then just use facial wash, clinque foaming facial wash recommended

No, alcohol will just dry out your skin...I used to work at this store called The Body Shop, its like bath and body works only that The Body Shop is more organic and natural...and NOT alcohol based like most if not all of Bath and Body's products are. Anywho what you would want to do is get a toner, face wash and a face cream. But before you get any of that i would have to know what kind of skin you have, i.e. normal to oily, normal to dry, normal to very oily...etc. Then i could recommend something that would be for your face in particular. But for the most part you can try either the Aloe Vera line that the Body Shop carries...or the Sea Weed line...both of which are great from personal experience and those lines are for all skin types.

It is not safe to use alcohol. Alcohol is made from wood and it is very drying. Decades ago it was suggested to dry acne but it never worked. Go buy a good face cleaner and use a moisturizer. Don't use soap either. Remember you will older longer than you will be younger. If you want to have less wrinkles later, take care of your skin now. You will be happy you did when all your friends are asking, "How do you look so young???"

Definatly not! Alcohol may remove all the dirt from your face, but it is also taking your skin's natural oils right along with it. Rubbing alcohol will really dry out your skin, causing ugly, embarassing, flaky patches. Another reason I would shy away from using alcohol on your face is because if you happened to get some in your eyes you would be in a world of hurt. I suggest using Sea Breeze astringent to clean the dirt off your skin. It dosen't strip your face of it's natural oils. You can also get some for sensitive skin. But no, please do NOT use alcohol on your face. I hope this helps!

I don't think it is a good idea to use just alcohol on your face. It can make your skin extremely dry causing other skin problems. If you have oily skin just try mild soap and water(Caress/Dove/ Olay products). If that doesn't work try a facial cleanser like products by Fresh Face/Clean and Clear/Cetaphil/ or Carol's Daughter). These products are great for any type of skin (normal, sensitive, dry). They are also really good cleansing products.

I can tell you from personal experience you DONT want to do it. Someone told me, in my early teens, that ance would be healed if i rubbed alcohol on it.
I thought "hey, why not...it makes sense. Alcohol is used to cleans wounds, why not my face?" Well i used it for about 3 days, all over my face, and I had the worst dry skin ever!
I didn't brake out, but my face looked like it had peachy fuzz all over it, but in reality it was really dry skin. Please, please don't use it!

i can't see why it wouldn't be SAFE (avoid eyes), but it will dry your skin out and cause premature wrinkling. I used to use it until my pre wedding day make up application...and the make up artist asked WHAT i was DOING to my skin. Based on what she said, I have never used alcohol as a facial cleanser again.

If I ever get a bad break out, I use alcohol on it to dry it up. It usually dries it up in a couple of days.
