well, I thought long & hard, but here's a little more info. to help you decide...
#1 I'd be going with a 15-year-old boy who I really don't know
#2 I hate horror films
#3 I hate the sub
#4 She described her son like this...
- People say he looks like Harry Potter
- He's skinny
- He's 15 years old
- He "has no friends"
- He loves to draw
- He's very shy

You should try to go out with him to see where it will go from there. If you notice that there is nothing between the two of you, then you can call it quits there.

Well, the other things wouldnt have mattered to me. But if you hate the sub, then that's something to think about. lol. Cause there's no point doing something reluctantly for someone that you dont like. On a different note, i think the main reason she asked for your help was to get her son out. The kid's prolly feeling bad and empty that he's no friends. It's really your call, but you might be making someone's day. Sure, you hate horror films, but who says you have to go for that? You guys can just hang out and have fun. Get to know each other and see how it goes. Things normally wont turn out as bad as they seem. And even if they do, you're not bounded to go next time. So, my advice would be get to know him and try communicating with him. Who knows? After a while, you might be good friends. After all, this isnt really a date. Good luck on your decision! But remember, itll prolly only take a little of your time to make someone's day

Respectfully decline explaining that you don''t enjoy watching horror movies and most of all you don't feel comfortable playing chaperon to a kid who you don't know.

And, you know, 15 year olds really only need a ride to and back from the theater, so depending on how old you are (a very important factor in this question) she either worries too much about her kid oor...she's trying to hook you two up.

take a chance n get to know him. it cant be that bad. you dont have to see the movie or anything just maybe ice cream or invite him to hang out with you and your friends. and about the whole description his mother gave you...moms are the queens at pointing out the worst in their sons. but i mean hey harry potter isnt that bad, check out the nude pics from the play hes in.. not to bad lol ahhahahaha

Hell no! Lol

Do you really know the sub that well? I dont think so, i dont think you should attempt this blind date at all. Simple answer to me. If you do intend to go, then plz take a couple of YOUR friends with you for comforting and whatever else is necc. get it?

Good luck,

-James

I would not. If there is nothing in the list you like, then you dont go. Just say I am sorry, I have other things to do. But I thank you for thinking of me.

yes go. the guys who are shy usually end up to be the next popular guy. you might get lucky. give the poor kid a chance. (make sure there is supervision) and have fun!!!

What do you have to lose? He probably doesn't have many friends because he's shy. Who knows you might find a new friend!
