I would maybe use a little extra liquid or maybe try cooking everything on low ( dont know if it burns on high and low) but if it only burns on high try it on low this might help your problem.

It could be your high altitude and you can check with a person from hardware or an electrician about that and if it isn't then it can be your brand of crock pot. Also check the setting that your cooking on, it can be that low is high and medium is real high.

On either the low or high setting, you still gotta stir everything you cook every so often(try once an hour). Thats all I can thing of that could cause it to happen other than a malfunction in the heating coils causing them to cook way hotter than they should. Either get to stirring or buy yourself new pot. Try Big Lots or some other discount store. I bought mine 4 years ago for 15 bucks and it works great.

It could be....If your crock pot has a low and a high setting try the low (obvious I know, but some people don't think about it) you can also try adding a little extra liquid. Good luck!

Maybe the crock pot is shot and you have to buy another one. Sometimes the crock pot would get so old that it could burn the food.

The high setting will do it every time.
Try the new crock pot liners they sell by the aluminum foil.
Easy peasy clean up!

I noticed the newer models get hotter. Mine is a rival programmable. I set the temp on low, check on it, and cook it a shorter length of time. If you are cooking meat, trim all the fat or sear a roast etc first. Fat will increase the temp. Hope that helps.

I think you should add enough water and lower the temp.
