there are a couple options:
bring a small bottle of toner or astringent
blotting paper(a cheaper version is use a peice of a toilet seat cover, it works really!)
try some physicans formula powder, it will soak up the the oil on your face

Yeah, definitely you can do something. First of all you can get something like individual Clearasil wipes. They are not very expensive and you can keep a couple with you during the day. But what I use and love is Proactive Daily Oil Control. I am a waitress and after a 6 hour shift anyone's face gets really oily. But I swear this stuff stops the oil! And if you have acne, I swear by proactive and so do a lot of girls I know. Only down side is that it is a little expensive.

Only wash your face once in the morning and once before bed. You are encouraging more oil production in your pores by washing so often. Get a cleanser for oily skin and a moisturizer for oily skin. Moisturizers are not the same as oil either. You need moisture. Get some of those cotton-like circles that you can buy for oily skin. Just pat your skin with them to absorb the oil. You can carry them in your purse and just pat your skin gently. You will see an amazing difference.

Ok, this is what I would suggest. Do not wear foundation unless you really feel you need to. It tends to make skin oily and clog pores. You need to invest in some really good facial powder which will help absorb some of this oil. Also, get some "blotting cloths". These are little cloths that feel almost like tissue papper than you dab on your skin. They absorb the oil and not your makeup. This should really help. Good Luck!

omg, do not wash your face every few hours! skin is meant to be washed twice a day only, maybe three for "extreme case" such as yours, you may have less oily skin after washing but it will not reduce, you're only taking off what oil is on your face at the moment.
use oil control films, available at any shopping store. clean and clear (the blue one) is good because it isnt papaer like, so it doesnt tear that easily, unlike other brands.
use l'oreal pure zone, my sister is very oily too like you and she uses this to maintain less oily looking skin outiside, in our house she doesnt care if she's oily, no one's there anyway. plus, apply powder every once in a while to reduce the appearance of oil.

use a toner or an astringent before you go to school, also use an oil free moisturizer, buy a powder compact or oil obsorbing sheets. i had the same problem in high school. (i'm a 1st year college student now) but Between classes i went to the bathroom and blotted my face off first, and then i used a pressed powder to keep me oil free at least till i got home to wash my face again. hope that helps :o)

I would suggest the proper skin cleanser and an oil control lotion that will soak up the oil for up to eight hours also. There are things out there and I always care oil blotters with me. It absorbs the oil and won't take off any makeup in the process.

I would put some foundation made for oily faces and then also use some powder. At lunch, I would put more powder on my face because lunch is in the middle of the day and it will start to get oily again.

washing too much can make your skin more oily. once in the morning and once at night should be fine.
save money on those oil blotting sheets--a napkin or paper towel works just as good. (although i remember at my high school they never stocked paper towels!)
you can use oil absorbing moisturizers (dermalogica makes one, but its expensive. there are other brands too).
p.s. oily skin is a pain now, but in the long run, you should have fewer wrinkles...

hehe.
me too!
i buy those stridex wipes to school with me.
and since i'm embarrassed about having an oily face
i sometimes go in the stall and pretend to pee
and just take the stridex wipes and wipe my face to get
rid of the oil :]]
on days when i forget to bring them,
i just go in the stall, pretend to pee again,
and take the toilet paper
and just wipe or pat my face
so that the toilet paper can soak up the oil.
and it actually works too :D
