what is the best web site to buy those thin ribbons (mounted). I was doing some searching and those things can be quite expensive. I have a total of 10. Also does anyone know if the magnetic backing is worth it?

I have been using a place in CA for years now (taught professional military education). They do a great job and have often surprised me by giving me more than I asked for (for instance, once sent me a bonus functional badge to try out).

Although most of the site looks AF, Roger DOES do other services...just call him for a quote--he's a retired enlisted guy and the number is out there.

As for your question about magnets...I wear them on my shirt--but not on my jacket. They tend to slide around under a seat belt and shift when you sit and stand. I think the convenience is worth checking and adjusting a few times per day.

Hope this helps

There's a place in military.com where you can order ribbons that are really thin....not sure how much they cost, though.

As for the magnetic ribbons, forget it....they don't work worth a crap.
