My bestfriend in the world.
I've known him forever, He told me recently he
smokes, but he didnt want me to tell anyone else!
How can I get him to stop??

There's nothing you can do.
Smoking/nicotine is a powerful addiction.
People with lung cancer will even smoke through their tracheostomies.
He has to want to stop.

Best friend in the world, smoking? That sounds just like what had happened to me. If you really care about him than go up to him and say that it is for his own health. Prove to him. Go on the websites print some stuff about bad stuff on smoking

There's nothing you can do really. All you can do is tell him how much it hurts you to know he's putting himself in danger, and how much his family will be hurt if he gets sick in the future. He has to want to stop it, but one thing that you can do to show him you're serious is to ask him not to smoke around you, and if he starts, then leave.

hi that is very easy first you must to think why are you doing that and so think what do you want in the live,you`ll do it relax in a bet close eyes breaf slow for ten minutes and you`ll see yourself healthtly in a next future do it ten minutes during ten days and you`ll see the results soon bye....

it's hard to change peoples ways and habits.
im currently trying to as well.
but remember this there is a reason why people smoke and/or do drugs.
once you find that reason,and you have faith things will turn out good.

find pictures on the net of your LUNGS after just 2 yrs of smoking better yet take him to a hospital where they have patients who have lung cancer, I bet he will think twice then!

tell him u really care about his health and that he can't hide the facts that this will kill him and in a very painful way. yellow teeth. black lungs. but besides the basics, tell how ridiculus he looks when he does it. he smells, people shy AWAY from him. figure something out.

Keep him busy where he can't smoke, don't harp on it, don't make him feel like sh*t, and maybe start suggesting the patch or the gum.

There's an old saying "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink". You can encourage him & warn him until you are blue in the face, but its him who has to make his own decisions, not you.

Have him exercise. It helps remove the nicotine. And have him try Chantix.
