Sounds like me, but I don't have to get up because I don't have a job to go too. (and I stay up late , sometimes I don't go to bed until 3am.)
Try to relax each night, have a hot milky drink, don't watch scary things on television, nor read books, the experts say just listen to quiet music before going to bed, getting into a sleeping pattern will help. If your not working at the moment, it could be because you aren't doing enough during the day. If your not doing any exercise try a light walk each day, this may help, or maybe, just maybe you are anxious about your new job, so can't sleep during the night so catch up on your sleep in the mornings.
Maybe things will improve once you begin your new job.

ok , the average person sleeps in 6 hour cycles. for the first two you will dream, then you will fall in to a deep sleep this is the bit you cant remember, (and referred to as R.E.M sleep)then you will start to revert to light sleeping, and therefore start to dream again before finally waking up. If you are falling asleep again its probably because you are in the process of falling back into REM sleep (R.apid E.ye M.ovement) which means you are literally fighting sleep.
I suggest trying to sleep less hours or more. this may require a little fine tuning but ideally you should try to wake up during the third stage of the cycle where your body is emerging from deep sleep.
ps perhaps someone will completely rubbish this answer but it works for me. 5-6 hours a night and up no problem.(hit 9min snooze twice for optimum performance!)
good luck nice question.

You have got your body into a bad habit. You will have to break out of it and get your body into some kind of sleep routine. If you are getting more than 8 hours sleep then your body becomes lethargic because you end up going back. Try getting yourself in a routine and when you have set alarm - do as one answerer suggest - out it out of your reach so you have to get up. You will have to train your body and try to go to bed early so you do get enough sleep.

Could be you need more sleep. Some people need a lot of sleep and some people don't. I myself need a lot of sleep so dont worry about it. You will still still wake up in the morning looking BEAUTIFUL.

Sounds as though you've got into bad habits. Your new routine in your new job will hopefully jolt you out of the rut.
