I really like this guy from my school. And he's pretty smart and I'm pretty sure that he caught onto my "liking" him. The thing is... now that he knows he's kinda akwardly avoiding me. And I really don't know how to get him warmed up to me again. Please help me. It's so akward now. And it's making me kinda upset, because really, I haven't liked a guy this much....maybe..... ever. Could be karma because I was always the rebellious girl with a gypsies heart. But I need help, it's sort of depressing me that I can't win him over. PLease, what should I do?

You might want to give that back to the Gypsy.

Ok, my suggestion: if you pursue him over-actively and look, well, desperate, you are not likely to get him. Act cool, calm, and collected. If the "spark" is not there for him, it is not and overenthusiasm could just blow out any spark that is there.

If he does not return your affections, there shall be others. At your age this might seem like empty platitudes, however, all of us old-timers (somewhere over mid 20's) have learned this.

My advice would be to stop talking to him. Maybe a "hi" or a "how's it going?" but nothing big. Make him miss your attention. Trust me coming from a guy nothing makes you go after someone more than when they stop talking to you. And if he doesn't come back to you, then you know that it wasn't meant to be. There will be other guys, and if you are supposed to be with this one then it will happen. Just don't stress over it and good luck!

maybe just treat him like you would anyone else. then maybe he'll wonder if you really do/did like him or if he was imagining it. then he'll want to come and find out (talk/spend time with you).
