Start with a close examination of your head. Personally, I am so pissed at how the Catholics shuffled pedophile priests around damaging thousands of children I would never, and I mean never, become Catholic.

If you know in your heart you want to become Catholic for YOU not the family you are marrying into, then you will need to go through RCIA at your local parish. RCIA is a year long program that begins in the fall and ends after Easter. You will officially become Catholic at the Easter Vigil. I would go ahead and start talking to the parish priest and let him advise you. Good luck with your journey.

If you are interested in joining or just learning more about the Catholic Church, contact your local parish and ask about information about their RCIA Inquiry group.
You can go and ask any questions you want.
This is the first step in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) but you can stop at any time.
There is no obligation to become a Catholic.
With love and prayers in Christ.

Why would you want to? Didn't you learn anything in Sunday School? Catholics pray to Mary. And saints. Talk to God about this. Pray. Get into The Word, and look at Catholic doctrine before you convert. They believe that the bread and wine actually BECOME the body and blood of Jesus. Do you believe that? Do you believe that baptism (infant sprinkling) saves? If not, don't become Catholic. Your eternity could depend on it.

PRAY there is one thing missing in this situation...God. He is the one you need to please and worship. I believe people get so caught up into religion and traditions they forget why they even go to church or why they are a believer in the first place.

Don't change you religion for anyone else but yourself.
Personally, I wouldn't go back to catholicism if they paid me. But they could never pay me...because their paying off lawsuits from molestation victims.
Anyhoo..you should probably go talk to a preist and bring your checkbook.
